Is the world full of stimuli or is it in our eyes

What are we fusing with or to
Has evolution duped us or have we duped it

It is this the proverbial forbidden apple
the wastelands beyond Eden
the fateful scorn of an old grumpy creator
Have we downloaded a talking snake

Developed and tooled up
will we auction pieces of ourselves off to the world
acquiring credit in a new currency
A foreign modern version of a self esteem

The shy provincial latecomers, heads held low
Can now purchase enough confidence to update their redundant traditions
