 The street dog
brown red and white chest and neck
squarish head and average sized floppy ears
big size body eyes like tears

navigating the streets with ease
Catching that whiff on the breeze
And locating it´s lunch on the way
jogging effortlessly at a constant pace

The street dog must not be domesticated
It needs the smells and dirts of the street
The petting of random neighbor´s kindness
The stray cats and dogs territory mark whizz

Freedom is it´s existance
gutters and sidewalks it´s house
when he´s not smelling he´s listening
fearless streetdog never cowers
