The colony
Colonising
Ice covered the grassy shores of the lake
The water now thigh deep as i wade through
We dressed in countless layers of fur clothing
Out came the natives scantilly clad
We greeted them as they appeared from the underbrush
They imitated our greetings in a whisper
Who hugged the frozen shores of the new land
We who had to break in the beasts
Carve the lands for roads and towns
Manipulate the shape of the world
Yes human nature against the percieved chaos
