Tau bush compared to Paraty

 Same trees I'd find back inland
Here the leaves are fat and greedy
Back in Tau Tau narrower and more spindley
The wider greedy leaves soak up more sun

They interact with the humidity
Gulping up the breeze
Back in Tau Tau there's more dryness
There the air is lighter

Here it is heavy and damp
The smallest shrubs still aim for the highest canopy
Using the abundance of rotten vegetation
Pockets of steaming heat

For these smaller shrubs
Are at the mercy of huge trees and palms
The only source of sunlight is dappled
and very highly coveted at that.
