The hellos were timid
A new family came through
Tripping up chairs
Not able to choose a place to sit
In a room half full of empty tables
The friendly ones are sometimes the worst
Shaming me out of of my timidness
They seem so internally righteous
And I so cheaply proud
The attention hungry ones
A thin man a rounded woman
Now renewed and recovered from childbirth
Clumsily collect their breakfast
The quietest are expressionlist
Miracles of people
observing is a superpower
Keeping their heads held high less they become targets for idle chit chat
