Laying on the floating block next to the fishing boat
Not far from nameless pier
I baited hooks while rays and eels swam underneath
I coughed up ginger fiber it looked like the bait
A yellowish meat that should be chicken but wasn't
The line slowly extended into the waters
I lifted my legs from the water incase something bit
The line was coming out faster
Almost no time to get the bait on
Before that line went out to lure some poor fish
The waters were just so abundant like there were no predators
Should I just slip into the water and become th shark
