The family was accustomed to drinking candy soup
We found a few ways to impress our father
Yet it was a meager garden
There just wasn´t alot being offered
flash floods of envy hidden under layers of makeup
And the family fractured as father walked out
The van packed with another family chattering kids
The van was as wider than a bus and whiter than a ghost
All strapped in, seat belts tying them to a new destiny far out
Leaving the front lawn like fugitives, those desperate eyes
and then night
