The awakener

It comes in from across the galaxy heavy and bright
Like a spear leaving the hunters hand
Flying across the star systems like a dragon
Space not cooling it down

through our solar system and into the next
Hissing on it's journey
Then landing on a world with the drum beat of a thousand bombs
making it' presence felt

The dance was done on a sacred stone once the water receded
A powerful dance that could alter the very laws of the universe
That could summon every atom of energy in the spear

He who leaps up and grabs life
Eternal sunrise

A trillion suns

God is a trillion suns shining through you
Not burning your physical body but your waste

Attending silently
Bringing together the remaining piece of good in you
And sealing them together over the years

All prejudice affronts me-Is the voice
All empathy reproduces me-it says

Attending to the wounds in you
The ones others started in their ignorance
the ones you continued in your sadness

God is a trillion suns over you
Self discovery and forgiveness widens the smile
No judgement in the world

All actions, beliefs and reflections can be made toward love
All angles of your personality and behavior can be seen with your own eyes,
open them, open your eyes like dawn

As I glance at you(blessing)

I see you there, half relaxed, almost content, close to grace
I see your computer screen brighten your radiant face
I thank god a million times for your face and heart
I live to see you happy, each day a work of art

I see you in concentration on the many tasks you do
Not be distracted as I stop myself from interrupting you
Molding children's minds with a magic and a logic
Love in you and me and work practical

I thank god for a place to sleep by your side
A place by your side on the journey's ride
The long journey we must pass through
I taste the love I want from you

I send blessings daily and wish you well
Send the shape of a smile
that it would fit your face in your very own style
That you would be content in a chaos(school) so wild

Dance through the noise of the city
and come to me with a growing positivity
Hopes strengthening like growing veins across your heart
like my hopeful face falling soundly from your mind to your heart

Sunlight hit your face blessing it
admiration of a thousand children's memories
As I glance at you ask me what I see
Life and god pours energy into you each day

Celebrate the sun on long days
God gives them like rivers
Celebrate our time every moon
The lights of life and our union

The eagle in us

Gods and heroes fly above like eagles
I walk under them in awe
Some fall below me like duck season casualties
I walk over them cautiously

Youth is a variety
so much like luck
A flavor
An occasion just long enough for a transformation

Through the years we travel
Justice seems so abstract
The food of God always present
Yet our appetites for other things, form cravings

The great promotion of the charismatic
Flare as far as the eye and the smile can knock it
As youth is
So much like luck
A flavor

when they get knocked off the stage
they get back on the road
we furnish our own sandals here
for the road itself is painful
The aid of God is always available
Yet our appetite for pride, forms infections

Old age can be as negligent of life as youth
As the mind reverts itself to false certainties
Familiarities and limited content
Not much luck and not much flavor
But god renews the eagle in us
If our appetite for life still motivates us to the table

A piece of life(flying cow)

The cattle fences falling apart, grass trampled too
Holes big enough for a human like me to get through
The pasture had transformed into mud, something was wrong
And pretending to be a cow only works for so long

The weather seemed to change as I crawled through the fence
The sky cleared, sun heated everything a natural acquiescence
The river below me clear and abundant
shined up and invited me down golden and confident

By the river a huge hollow tree trunk, not far
Inside humans were counting their lucky stars
Their luck in muffled conversations each to measure
I swam under that trunk looking for treasure

I left the fearful there in the trunk in fright
swimming down stream over the rocks, out of sight
As I took flight rising off the water I met the sky
Over valleys I went swimming in the air, I could fly

I avoided a big muddy lake
and landed on a narrow road I was to take
where people from the past beaconed
I was given someone to guide, it was reckoned

I never taught someone to fly before
