Ten is the first beginning
unerasable and defined
a zero behind a verticle line 

 The divine nondivine that nine seeks
The line and circle so to speak
In hours it's a long work day I'm afraid
In years a wall of time called a decade

It's the ultimate grade for academic kindreds
unless the test is out of a hundred
A piece of that obsession with appearances of perfection
Divine misunderstanding of life as infact correction

when you combine one and zero
Somehow forming the hand of the hero
Conjuring vibrations to create positive psychology
embedded in that esoteric numerology 

Babylonian ten was phases of the moon
ancient priests predicting floods that loomed
So perhaps the decimal is divine in destruction and creation
By both the order of magnitude and of decimation

One upright line and circle right beside 
just three numbers away from seven's deep sigh
with more numeric symmetry than a bank could hide
eclipsing even two parallel lines that form eleven's evil eyes
