The news feed

 Some of these people seek misery
mouthfuls of it directly into their ears and eyes
the rotten as if they were sugary desserts
to feel the repugnant pang of disgust
as if they were stimulations

the grim news tickling their hearts
and envious upper organs pretending to be the heart
absorbing the tight feeling of sickened emotion
tainting the energy of the blood
 
The cool nausea of knowing they have it better
to actively involving themself in the sordid details
they are a neglected alley wall despite the moss and grime
they are ready to recieve mindless tagging

So the humble passer by may digest it from you
as if you were the reporter holding back tears magnanimously
