Separated inside the big mall
A mall the size of a city
With train stations, escalators
Long conveyor belt walk ways
You got lost in it searching for the right shop
The right items, the sense of that perfect purchase
And in the midst of the bustle a pick pocket happened upon you
stole your purse and contents so you could only window shop
Marveling at the displays lit up by elaborate illumination
huge windows spanning the width of a city block
No more credit, not even a ticket not a cent
empty wallet empty purse
