Tragedy of the flying tree

 The district's contractors positioned the equipment
the crane and diggger half bent over with the weight of the tree
the six men in their emergency gear made their way to the far paddock
before they got there the trees snapped catapaulting the trunks and long branches

leaving two of them maimed for life
the muddy ground
the foggy sky
