The emporium is a place of curiosity
and why couples are separated within it's walls is a mystery
They face oncoming traffic on one way streets
Lose themselves in the notion of prosperity
Wealth can never fill the heart
It may just inflate it
Just to burst it later
Just oncoming traffic in a city you no longer recognize
The emporium was fun but what could it really offer
beyond expensive things your heart can't afford.
