The unassuming twee snob bothers us
has the art of provoking others with their fuss
with minimum effort practiced muster
The mouth won't form a complete smile
Eyes move into doubtful mode to vex
Those gestures show an uncaringness
Where some might cultivate trust
others disgust abrupt using
their friendly coldness
Snobbery is the presupposed
The halting hand
the upturned nose
What pray tell is the prize
When I smooth with politeness
then expose it's lies, with an empty pretense
The reward is seeing humility die
in the face of such insinuating guises
