Underwater you dare the plesiosaur
The diplodocus looks from land with envy.
The heavy neck strained from gravity.
Not this four paddled apparition as illusive as morrison´s ghost.
Flowing with the currents of the underwater valleys.
Not even scraping coral as the long neck pushes schools to the surface.
And how they collect toward the sunlight.
Requesting directions from plankton as the fancy fish frenzy
of a thousand flapping tails and gills as they feel the reptiles might.
No gravity underwater chasing all toward the waves crest.
The plesiosaur replenishes itself on easy pickings.
Not a passive creature but one of predatory zest.
Razor polite teeth and sandpaper lickings.
With a full stomach it will return to the open sea
to try megadolons and thesaurus´ like mud dwelling eels.
The only lie is in the way it glides through the darkness
partially obscuring it´s long tail which propells it with finesse.
