The knights can mix it up and break the front lines
Near the irritating bishop's diagonal roll
When you finally get those rooks out fine
With the help of the queen they can take their toll
Defense sounds like a fun way to play
But it's not always possible to pull off
Because attacks accumulate and open the threatening rays
Let your adversary think he's winning and check him as he scoffs
