It is not so much a bird as a soothsayer
A grim reaper with a long range stare
forging paths through the air
All predator cloud lover
the winds brother

All danger and feathers
all kinds of hellish weather
All prey and earth bound food
Devoured beak and claw crude
The Creature of the horizon all things new

The eye of the future
The master of mountains
That transformational creature
Above our world above frowning rains
where the highest mist descends to crown him
