The tides destroy

Over run by the white wash
on the shore, shore of midspring
Taken by the undertow
through the tragic overpowering flow

saltwater choking
taken down and out for many meters
The light of day still hits the fish grins
No thirst, no hunger, no air

Sandbar underneath
loss meets silence shaking the insides
lifeless corpse magnetically glued to the sandy sea floor
The surface of the sea looks nice today

Beautiful yaughts and hundreds of swimmers
People with leisure on their mind
relaxing and playing the day long
Sun reflects off that water like gold being given to the world

Happy beach umbrella party lets not bother them
Bliss and heat
The skin is devoured by sharks
the underwater scratch of razor sharp teeth against bone sends kippers into a frenzy

And the organs drift out into the dark water pierced and pissing
The open mouth fills with the floating grains of sand

Over the waves children's laughter blows freely and clearly like hope
Like tickling faith as if all was good in the world
The beat and rhythm of pop music and the aroma of food follow it over the waves
You can feel cheery vibrations over that water, you can touch contentment
But under the waves is the ragged remains of a nobody
Dragged away from the shore and silenced
