Rent is the gobbler
As if the world wasn't taxing enough!
The digits reconfigure life is tough!
The grin of suburban tribute a sexy lippy curve
The quest for happiness or freedom I commend
So quickly forgotten, in the modern world you bend
You beg and borrow and owe them as they lend
Yet that is the reality, why continue to pretend
