To see fools everywhere yet not know
your own foolishness
To profess in popular quotes
until listeners ears feel as strangled throats
Life has many a mire
And your quest even more obstacles
as you crave to be admired
Topsy turvy to turn out some wisdom
But it´s just another pool of quick sand
A long term bath in your own misunderstanding
convince yourself heartily in the mirror first
Irritating the clever and contenting idiots a gray nurse
And each time you reach for the powder
that pixy dust you call wisdom
Each time your pride has a "prove you wrong" spasm
you widen your well thought out ugly chasm
In your heart
where the neighborhoods are the nicest
Foolishness resides rent free
and predictably next to it´s compatible vices
The ones your too busy
giving advice, to see
