Designing creation

 Two gods were toying with the idea of manifesting into physical form
They created more people women and men
landed on earth in human form and became fisherman
The god of fertility threw a fruit onto the lake

Both gods watched it float
and the god of fertility exclaimed
-we shall like this fruit live on the earth forever
And never disappear from existence

The god of land picked up a big stone 
throwing it in the lake as if to overshadow fertility
and exclaimed -We shall like this stone disapear from existence
never to return to the world of the living

and so mortality became real
Fertility accepted it and the land god accepted it
Yet when land god lost his first child in a fishing accident
He desperately pleaded with the fertility god to take it back

It was however decided
And deep down the land god knew it
he had won the argument
yet lost something a million times more precious

The news feed

 Some of these people seek misery
mouthfuls of it directly into their ears and eyes
the rotten as if they were sugary desserts
to feel the repugnant pang of disgust
as if they were stimulations

the grim news tickling their hearts
and envious upper organs pretending to be the heart
absorbing the tight feeling of sickened emotion
tainting the energy of the blood
 
The cool nausea of knowing they have it better
to actively involving themself in the sordid details
they are a neglected alley wall despite the moss and grime
they are ready to recieve mindless tagging

So the humble passer by may digest it from you
as if you were the reporter holding back tears magnanimously
 

Patience and lawyers

 A dim cloudy dusk
a flavor you could taste
soapy potato puree
streetlights impatiently wait

The city fifteen minutes drive
where cousins run companies
style and groom themselves
status impatiently waits

the dim grey blue concentrated in the valley
cooler air encouraged pedestrians to crowd the few cafes
waiting for their suit wearing cousins
who would arrive with priceless smiles

Sharp wet branch inspection

 Water fell across the floor
flowing across it 
making the whole building damp
the water covered those blue white tiles

creating a mirror for the ceiling lights
employees were late and confused
trying to find dry areas to change out of their clothes
the sun outside couldn't dry the floors

Soon the important people would arrive
blame would be distributed as if some rare reward
anger and taunt well measured as if rehearsed
as if cherished that sweet redistribution of hurt

Niece is ten

 The gawkers

they watch your house

The gawkers are taking control of your life
They have a little model of your house
the gawkers are spending time observing it

Encased in glass your dream home intact
Their eyes running over the sweet design of it all
stately conifers almost Japanese

The gawkers can see it through
they've set themselves up like a stake out
Night no obstacle they pour light into the model

The state of mind
A driveway the group up in it
As if teens outside their highschool

The gawkers will save your life
your dream

The burden of life

 The embryo here in my hand
looking up at me the foreign statue
as we climb the escalator
the walls are long wide clocks

canoes and bicycles
downward downward just concrete
the light comes in enough to illuminate our faces
from the broad windows 

the life in me should echo down through generations
should have a voice to speak into the clean well
dug and laid by the hands of our own arms
In this noctambulist generation 

Those same hands join to pray
That this well will sustain great ambitions
beyond the fooled audiences of today
Kind embryo may burden strengthen you
