Angel or demon?

The centuries whisper both
The succubus that seduced tyrants and depraved men in power.
sapping their energies overnight, then sucking their blood
and finally stealing their soul in the last breathe.

Lillith entered the world realm to slow the colonization of new lands.
Military men were prevented from colonizing new land in the 15-16th century world, because the would be conquistadors were seduced by an ancient power none understand.
And the blame would go on wild plagues or poison.
 unbeknownst to the would be invaders there were plagues on board but they were not on board to kill the invaders but to facilitate their colonial conquests had they been successful.

Those first ships that tried to colonize lands before the Spanish, never even landed on the new islands and continents they sought.

!8th century purge in the French aristocracy paving the way for the revolution by the end of the century. The fighting class of aristocrats who fought to expand the empire and imposed unfair taxes and laws over the merchants and a new class of industrialists were being found dead in their beds.
These were the men who organized and facilitated the power of the monarch and church over all of France. And one by one from 1733 until 1787 they were killed at night sucked dry. At first the commission for medicine said it could be another strain of the black plague, but that made no sense these diseases killed the poor first and there were no boils on the skin.

By 1787 the upperclass had few men with the competence or the courage to contain the new mobs of organized freedom fighters who wanted rights and freedoms that the monarch refused to give.
There stood Lillith in the back ground after she had sucked one of the last elite generals dry, she went to the streets whispering infectious chants into the ears of the unruly crowds.
